Ecole Boulle has a long tradition of collaboration and cooperation with educational institutions and organisations in Europe and all over the world. The school has been a holder of the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education for many years, and the LPMA vocational furniture-crafts high school (affiliated to Ecole Boulle) benefits from an Erasmus+ Accreditation enabling its pupils to carry out crafts internships in Europe and beyond.

We are members of Cumulus (www.cumulusassociation.org), the international association of universities and teaching establishments in the fields of design, crafts, arts and media, and jointly hosted their biannual world congress in Paris in 2018.

As you will see from this website and our diverse Instagram accounts, the school is actively involved in many international events, exchanges, partnerships and workshops. Moreover, our students are encouraged to carry out an international internship or study period at various moments during their cursus.

We also welcome incoming short-stay international students, for an immersion period of one semester or one year within the framework of Erasmus+ and bilateral partnerships or as autonomous freemovers, as well as visits by staff from partner institutions and professionals / experts for specific collaborations. Their presence enriches and widens our perspectives on learning and teaching design and crafts.

Our teaching language is French, but all our students learn English throughout their cursus, many of our staff speak English (or other languages) to varying degrees, and we also organise French for Foreigners classes for incoming exchange students in order to facilitate their adaptation.

For further information and the application form for incoming short-stay international students, see the different tabs in the International menu above. Deadlines are May 10th for the 1st semester or the whole academic year, and November 10th for the 2nd semester.

For international students who wish to join Ecole Boulle as full-time long-stay students, in order to follow an entire cursus and obtain a diploma, see the specific course instructions and calendar for applications (in the same way as local students), under the Informations et candidatures menu above. DNMADE (= Bachelor equivalent) applications must be made through Parcoursup, the French national higher-education applications platform here : https://www.parcoursup.gouv.fr/ .
