ÉCOLE BOULLE is proud to teach and train creators who embrace cultural diversity and push back the limits of design and crafts.

The school encourages the development of international projects which enrich the experiences of our students and staff.

Our students have the opportunity to take part in workshops, exhibitions and exchanges with institutions from all over the world. These stimulating projects encourage collaboration, innovation and open-mindedness.

We also welcome students and staff from partner institutions, as well as professionals and experts for specific collaborations. Their presence enriches and widens our perspectives on learning and teaching design and crafts.

The school has a long tradition of collaboration and cooperation with other artistic and educational institutions and organisations in Europe and all over the world, with whom we have signed partnership agreements that facilitate student exchanges, shared projects and creative synergies.

The school has been a holder of the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education for many years, and the LPMA vocational furniture-crafts high school (affiliated to Ecole Boulle) benefits from an Erasmus+ Accreditation.

We are also members of Cumulus, the international association of universities and teaching establishments in the fields of design, crafts, arts and media, which enables us to further widen our collaborative network.

Whether in Europe, USA (New York) or Japan, Taiwan or Morocco, our international links are a constant source of inspiration.

At Ecole Boulle we are always pleased to host incoming international exchange students. On this page you will find all the relevant practical information to facilitate your mobility project.

We believe that cultural diversity is an infinite source of inspiration. You will discover a dynamic environment at Ecole Boulle, where ideas merge, where tradition is interwoven with innovation, and where each project is an opportunity to grow, and to develop your professional network.

We welcome incoming short-stay international students to follow one of our courses (DNMADE - equivalent Bachelor, or DSAA - equivalent Master), for an immersion period of one semester or one year, within the framework of Erasmus+ and bilateral partnerships, or as autonomous ‘freemovers’.

Our teaching language is French, but all our students learn English throughout their cursus, and many of our staff speak English (or other languages) to varying degrees, which simplifies communication. We also organise French for Foreigners classes for incoming exchange students in order to facilitate their adaptation.

The deadlines for exchange nominations and applications are May 10th for the 1st semester or the whole academic year, and November 10th for the 2nd semester.

À l’École BOULLE, nous croyons que l’apprentissage ne se limite pas aux murs de l’école. C’est pourquoi nous vous encourageons à saisir les opportunités offertes par les échanges et les stages à l’international.

Partir à l’étranger, c’est bien plus qu’une simple expérience. C’est une aventure qui vous permettra de découvrir de nouvelles cultures, d’apprendre d’autres méthodes de travail, et de tisser des liens avec des personnes du monde entier. Que vous choisissiez Erasmus, un échange international avec les établissements partenaires ou un stage en entreprise, chaque pas que vous ferez à l’étranger enrichira votre parcours.

Les échanges et les stages internationaux sont des tremplins pour la créativité. Vous serez confrontés à des défis uniques, à des problématiques culturelles variées, et à des approches différentes. Ces expériences vous pousseront à repousser vos limites, à penser différemment, et à trouver des solutions innovantes.

VOUS RENSEIGNER :

6-8 mois en amont : consultez la Responsable internationale, vos enseignants, les étudiants qui ont déjà effectué des mobilités.

Pour les mobilités d’étude : voir la liste des établissements partenaires actuels et anciens, et consultez les sites de ces établissements, veillant à la compatibilité du catalogue des cours, du calendrier, du nombre d’ECTS, et de la langue d’enseignement, avec votre profil personnel.

Pour les mobilités de stage : faites vos recherches par rapport aux pays qui vous intéressent, dans les annuaires des membres des organismes professionnels, sur les réseaux sociaux, dans la presse spécialisée, et auprès de vos enseignants.

PREPAREZ VOTRE DOSSIER :

Préparez / mettez à jour les documents pour votre dossier (CV, lettre et portfolio), et traduisez-les si nécessaire.

Pour les mobilités d’étude : confirmez votre projet auprès de la Responsable internationale et demandez l’accord de votre enseignant référent. Obtenez les copies de vos bulletins, une lettre de recommandation si demandée, les traductions le cas échéant. Ensuite soumettez votre dossier via la Responsable Internationale, selon les modalités de l’établissement d’accueil.

Pour les mobilités de stage : contactez les entreprises, transmettez-leur votre dossier et organisez un entretien. Négociez les conditions de votre stage, ensuite avec l’accord de votre enseignant référent faites valider et signer la convention de l’Ecole Boulle par les différentes parties.

ORGANISEZ VOTRE SEJOUR :

Informez la Responsable internationale du résultat de votre candidature.

Procurez-vous les documents officiels selon votre destination : pièce d’identité en cours de validité, visa (attention aux délais et aux coûts), carte européenne d’assurance maladie, assurance RC, et santé et voyage si nécessaire.

Effectuez les démarches spécifiques en cas de demande de bourse Erasmus+.

Pour les mobilités d’études, suivez la démarche d’inscription règlementaire de l’Ecole Boulle, et celle de l’établissement d’accueil.
