Global Construction & Design Project Manager – Häagen Dazs Shops

This role is part of the Häagen-Dazs Global Shops Team (EUAU & LATAM). Our ambition is to make the Häagen-Dazs brand the most popular ice cream brand in the world and to ensure profitable growth of our store network.

FUNCTION/POSITION OVERVIEW

Supporting Global Development & Operations’ teams of our global shops network (EUAU and LATAM), you will be accountable for renovation and creation of HD Shops. You will manage all the operational part to ensure smooth shops openings and refurbishments and bring the right level of support to franchisee and all internal stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

1. Ensures the work monitoring between the franchisee, the architect, the Häagen-Dazs support services, Global Development and Operation teams and service providers

2. Guarantees Häagen-Dazs design training of architects recommended by General Mills and chosen by franchisees

3. Defines and develops partnership with right suppliers for the best product (in collaboration with sourcing team). Manages implementation on E-buy process (internal communication platform)

4. Support on Reach Concept (New Häagen-Dazs shops concept) evolution 2.00, work in parallel with agency

Other responsibilities

– Coordinates the technical feasibility of architect’s projects and submits for validation to the leadership team
– Defines and sets up the technical excellence of the “concept”: the best suppliers and companies for technical support
– Proceed to all first quotations on each project
– Refresh the Häagen-Dazs Shops toolkit and Häagen-Dazs architectural Guidelines when needed
– Provides ideas and support on sustainable solution
– For company owned shops, organize the maintenance (dipping, furniture, others …) of the current store in coordination with the District managers
– Implement tool management (construction site monitoring chart, Häagen-Dazs furniture monitoring board, etc.).
– Support Regional Development Managers/ District managers to place orders in E-buy for furniture
– Manage GBS support to develop and manage Shop net and E-buy (internal communication and orders platform) platform
– Help and support for news areas to develop local solutions and suppliers to implement Reach concept in these new countries

• Graduate caliber with proven architecture/design success and experiences
• Passionate about consumers with a great understanding of brands and the need for
emotional connection with consumers. Experience with food brands and/or luxury
• Knowledge / reading of plans (CAD, DWG)
• Project management skills
• Ability to prioritize complex demands
• Excellent influencing and communication skills
• Business mindset
• Good assertiveness
• Mandatory English, French and Spanish is a plus
