Standard and Best Practice Intern Communications, Standards & Capacity Building Division Standards & Capacity Building Unit Communications Directorate (COM) Under the guidance of the Secretary-General, the core mission of the Directorate for Communications (COM) is to maximise the reach and impact of the OECD and its work through clear, cutting-edge and evidence-based communications. The Directorate works in accordance with the OECD Communications Strategy and pursuant to the annual communication plans for which it is responsible, steering organisational efforts on strategic priorities and supporting policy directorates in their communications to specialised audiences. The Communications Impact, Standards & Capacity Building Division: The mission of the division is to build and facilitate a collaborative community of excellence among communication staff at the OECD by promoting effective and consistent communications practices and developing a learning and improvement culture. Specifically, the division works with communications staff across the Organisation to: • Provide strategic analysis • Evaluate performance • Monitor the reputation of the OECD and build capability to react to mis-disinformation • Build the capacity and skills of communications staff • Establish and ensure compliance with corporate standards in all communications areas • Provide guidance on reputational risk and rights management
The Standards & Capacity Building Unit is recruiting an intern to work full time from 25 August 2025 through 19 December 2025. Main Responsibilities • Support the design of tailored communication training programs, helping the team to produce multimedia learning content in English. • Support the OECD Communications Guidance Portal, verifying and formatting documentation in both French and English.
Ideal Candidate Profile Academic Background • Studies in communications, translation or other related discipline. Required skills • Full fluency in French and English, both written and oral. • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Express and Adobe Creative Cloud tools, or similar, with a good eye for design. • Demonstrated writing, editing and project management experience. • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and to assist others proactively. • Ability to ask questions and to learn as well as to propose new ideas.
The OECD grants a contribution to living expenses of 1000 euros per full calendar month worked. When the total duration of the internship is longer than 2 full-time months, interns are entitled to 2.5 days of annual leave per calendar month worked.
